1. Admission and Tickets

1.1.  In order to facilitate the security, safety and comfort of all guests the organisers and Premises Licence Holder reserve the right to refuse admission.

1.2.  Upon booking you will be emailed a Booking Confirmation. You will need to bring either a printed copy of the barcode or the booking reference in order to gain access to the walled garden.

1.3.  No admission without a valid e-ticket.

1.4.  All ticket types are non- transferrable.

1.5.  All tickets are non-refundable, unless the event is cancelled. 

1.6.  Tickets are in the form of barcodes and will be scanned in upon entry; once a barcode has been swapped for a wristband it cannot be used again.

1.7.  The first scanned ticket to arrive at the event will be allowed entry; any subsequent ticket with the same code will be denied access. Please treat your ticket as you would cash, the organisers accept no responsibility or liability for any inconvenience caused by the unauthorised duplication of a ticket. 

1.8.  Admission is at the ticket holder's own risk. The organisers and Premises Licence Holder will not be held liable for any loss, injuries or damages sustained at the event including damage, theft or losses to property and motor vehicles, if the cause is due to the negligence of the ticket holder or the unforeseeable actions of other patrons or third parties.

1.9.  Sugnall Walled Garden can only verify the authenticity of tickets purchased directly from the festival website or via our parent company’s web-site awwines.co.uk.  Do not buy tickets from other third party sources, as these are unlikely to be genuine.  Invalid or duplicate barcodes will not be allowed entry into the festival site.

1.10.  In the event of cancellation of the festival, only the face value of the ticket will be refunded and not the booking fee.

1.11.  Wristbands removed from the wrist, tampered with, lost or missing will be rendered invalid and will not be replaced. Those without valid wristbands will be asked to leave the site.  All wristbands issued by Sugnall Jazz & Blues Festival 2016 remain the property of AW Wines Ltd until midday Monday 25th July 2016.

2. Alcoholic Drinks

2.1. Sugnall Walled Garden is a Licenced Premises and carries a full Premises Licence. For The Jazz & Blues Festival 2016 we shall be opening further bars within the walled garden and covered by this licence.

It is not possible therefore for guests to bring any alcoholic drinks whatsoever into the walled garden or any part of the site. This includes the car parking areas and surrounding fields and woodland forming part of the Sugnall Estate.

2.2. For clarity, only alcoholic drinks purchased on site may be consumed on site.

2.3. Any one attempting to bring alcoholic drinks onto site will be requested to forfeit them or be refused entry.

2.4 Catering: there is extensive on site catering available offering a wide choice of food at reasonable prices, however if you wish to bring a packed lunch or picnic this is welcome. However this may not include any alcoholic drinks and cannot include the use of a portable barbeque and may only be consumed in the outside areas of the site.

3.  Security

3.1. You may be searched at the entrance. Any items that the organisers consider to be used in an illegal or offensive manner shall be confiscated and you will not be permitted entry to the festival site.

3.2. Sugnall Jazz & Blues Festival has a No Drugs Policy.   Anyone caught in possession of such substances can be refused entry or ejected immediately from the festival site.

4.   Age policy

4.1 Challenge 25 operates on all gates as well as all bars.  If you have purchased an adult ticket and are fortunate enough to look under the age of the 25, you will be required to provide ID that proves your age.  If you cannot provide ID, you will be refused entry into the festival site. 

4.2.  Accepted ID includes; photographic driving license, a passport or PASS hologram proof of age card. Photocopies will not be accepted.

4.3.  Anyone under the age of 18 entering on a Teen Ticket, or a Child / Infant ticket must be accompanied by an Adult Ticket holding parent or guardian aged 25 or over.  Unaccompanied infants, children or teens will be refused entry.

4.4.  A Family Ticket is for two adults and up to four children aged 5-17. Infants under 5 are admitted free.

4.5. Any person under the age of 18 who has purchased an adult ticket rather than a Teen Ticket will be refused entry into the festival.

4.6.  Child and Infant ticket holders can only enter the festival with the person who purchased their ticket. i.e. their parent, guardian or nominated guardian. For safety reasons, any persons attempting to enter the festival with a child ticket holder, must be able to prove they bought the ticket for the child and / or is their parent, legal guardian or nominated guardian.

 

4.7. Teen, Child and Infant ticket holders must be accompanied by their parent / guardian at all times.

5.   Banned Items

5.1. Sugnall Jazz & Blues Festival 2016 will not allow any of the following items onto site: Knives including locking knives, sound systems, glass bottles excluding make-up and perfume, fireworks, explosives, BBQ's, smoke and gas canisters, air horns, flares, weapons, laser devices, drones and UAV's, sky lanterns, and illegal drugs, open bottles of any kind of liquid that can be consumed. Prohibited items will be confiscated from attendees.  If refusal to give items up should occur, Sugnall Jazz Festival has the right to refuse entry or enforce immediate ejection.

6.   General

6.1. The artist and performer line-up and all billed attractions may be subject to change at any time without notice.

6.2. Strictly no trading or other commercial activity by any ticket holder will be allowed on the festival site without the organisers’ prior written consent.

6.3. As a condition of sale, the ticket holder consents to being filmed, photographed and recorded for television, radio, webcast and other public broadcast and/or for any video/DVD or by onsite CCTV cameras and recordings for security purposes.

6.4. Tickets cannot be used as part of any marketing, media or sales promotion whether commercial or non-commercial without prior written permission of the event organisers. The marks, Sugnall Jazz & Blues Festival 2016 and the Sugnall Jazz & Blues logo, are registered United Kingdom and European Community trademarks and may not be used without the express written permission of AW Wines Ltd.

6.5. In accordance with Smoking Regulations, the tented arenas and other indoor areas of the festival are designated No Smoking areas. Designated smoking areas are available.

6.6. Please use bins and recycling points provided.

6.7. The lighting of fires anywhere on site is forbidden.

6.8. There is no overnight camping or sleeping permitted on any part of the Sugnall Estate including car parks and surrounding fields and lanes other than on the official site.

6.9. Strictly no animals (with the exception of Guide dogs) will be allowed on the site.

6.10. Warning: exposure to loud music maybe damaging to your hearing.

6.11. Pyrotechnics, lasers, smoke machines, strobe lighting and special effects may take place during some performances.

6.12. Parents are reminded that some areas of the festival, especially immediately in front of the speaker are inappropriate for children.
