Sugnall Jazz & Blues Festival

A boutique banquet of music, food and drink.

Sugnall Jazz & Blues Festival promises a weekend of indulgence for those who enjoy the finer things in life, where every facet of great live music, fine food and the most delicious drinks are celebrated within the intimate and idyllic setting of Sugnall Walled Garden.

The festival, which welcomes both day-trippers and weekend visitors, is the brain child of Andrew Wilson of Sugnall Walled Garden and Adam Jones of Granvilles Music Bar & Brasserie – hosted in partnership with the UK’s most established Jazz label, Big Bear Music and Fish Records, purveyors of the best in folk, roots and acoustic music.

We regularly update news about the event on our Facebook and Twitter pages with useful information and new annoucements.

Jazz & Blues Stage
Provided by Stafford Gatehouse Theatre, the main Jazz & Blues Stage hosts an incredible line-up of world-class artists performing at this year’s festival, spanning all forms of jazz and blues including King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys, Honeyfeet, Digby Fairweathers Half Dozen, Tipitina, The Daisy Chains and much more...

Roots in the Woods: Acoustic Stage
Proudly presented by Fish Records, purveyors of the best in folk, roots and acoustic music, our acoustic stage ‘in the woods’ showcases emerging artists such as Blair Dunlop, Luke Jackson, Jess Morgan, Sunjay, My Girl The River, Robert Lane, Pistol Pete Wearn and Darcy.

Fabulous Food
Becky’s Barbecue will be cooking up Cajun and Creole flame-grilled meats whilst the Sugnall Chefs will be serving up a Louisiana-style Jambalaya daily alongside Deli-style ‘help yourself’ salads, cold meats, cheeses and artisan breads. Afternoon Tea is available in the Tea Room and for those in search of Group Dining; there is the Long Table Dining option situated in the soft fruits quarter of the garden.

Delicious Drinks
With so much great music on offer in such a beautiful location, we just had to set the ‘bar’ high when it came to the beverages for this year’s festival. Our friends at Old School Wines host two brilliant bars serving cask ales, craft beer, champagne and wine whilst Green Monkey’s Beer Bus delivers ales from the Joules Brewery.
