Sugnall Jazz & Blues Festival

With so much great music on offer in such a beautiful location, we just had to set the ‘bar’ high when it came to the beverages for this year’s Sugnall Jazz & Blues Festival – so we’ve asked our friends at Old School to install two brilliant bars in the walled garden to ensure everyone is ‘well-watered’.

So there’s Harry’s Bar in the central marquee, serving a great range of Jazz inspired cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, with names like ‘A Slow Ride on the A Train’ and ‘Sophisticated Lady’ to name but two, these are mixed fresh to order by the Old School mixologists. Also, the gin foxes (Sebastian, Rubens and Fernando) from Gin Jamboree will be ‘in the house’ mixing up their amazing G&T combinations from their vast array of artisan gins with wacky garnishes served in ‘goldfish bowl’ glasses.

The hospitality marquee is home to Duke’s Bar, where you will find an amazing range of beers both draught and bottled from across the globe and many from small craft breweries, there’s also a great range of wines ‘by-the-bottle and glass’ and lots of soft drinks too.

In true Blues 'spirit', no bar would be complete without whiskey. Duke’s Bar will have a magnificent range of Bourbon and Corn whiskeys to mellow the mood… that gentleman ‘Jack’ may make an appearance too!

No visit to Sugnall Walled Garden is complete without a ‘cuppa’, so vintage Afternoon Tea will be served in the Tearoom and adjoining Peach House, along with Tea Pigs teas and Has Bean Coffee throughout the weekend.

For a truly special view of the festival, there is also the Carpenters Shop VIP Bar overlooking the walled garden. Here, invited guests will be able to mix with the artists, enjoy a drink and soak up the views of the garden from the decked bar area whilst exploring the Lost Woods beyond.
